The rules of the road
Eventrk is the technology platform. Organizations are the event organizers. This distinction matters — especially for event details, cancellations, refunds and disputes, which are the organization's responsibility, not Eventrk's.
Platform use
Eventrk provides software to help organizations run community events. By using the platform you agree to these terms.
User accounts
You are responsible for your account, credentials and for all activity that happens under it.
Organizations
Organizations create their own events and control their own data on Eventrk. Organization owners and admins are responsible for their content and operations.
Events
Event details, capacities, cancellations and refunds are set by the organizing organization, not by Eventrk.
Payments
Payments are processed through connected payment providers. Applicable transaction fees are set by those providers.
Refunds
Refund policies are defined by the organizing organization. Eventrk facilitates refunds but does not set refund policy.
User-generated content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Eventrk a limited license to display and process that content to provide the service.
Prohibited activity
No unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, harassing or misleading use. No attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer or overload the platform.
Intellectual property
The Eventrk platform, brand and code are owned by Eventrk. All rights reserved.
Account termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
Liability
Eventrk is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Eventrk operates.
